Belstaff XL 500 Washed Blue

The long awaited return of the famous Belstaff XL 500 jacket. Way back in the early ninteen seventies, the then UK based Belstaff introduced a new jacket called the XL 500. It was physically identical to the original Trialmaster jacket, but Belstaff had made the new jacket from Nylon instead. The XL 500 jacket was much lighter and 'easier' to wear. 4 decades on, and Belstaff have re-introduced, re-created an updated XL 500 replica jacket in a great range of retro colours, this jacket is a great induction into the new 2010 Pure motorcycle Collection.

As mentioned before the New Belstaff XL 500 Replica is made from Nylon, and also includes the fantastic microdry membrane. The jacket keeps within the 'Belstaff family' with the well used corduroy internal collar lining. This Belstaff jacket is also great for fashion as well as motorcycling, as the jacket includes CE approved removable protectors in the shoulders and elbows. The XL 500 is a true all round jacket, with the added bonus of a detachable quilted lining with Thinsulate 3M padding, unlike the Trialmaster, Classic Tourist Trophy, this jacket also includes a pocket for back protector, although the protector is not included with the jacket.

The XL 500 Replica is in keeping with traditional Belstaff jackets, as it has the four patch pockets on chest and sides with waterproof flaps and snap closures, The jacket also has a double fastening centre front with windproof inner panel as well as mesh vents along the sleeves with waterproof zip closure, eyelet vents underarm, reflective panels on the waist belt, an adjustable neck strap and finally has Belstaff logo snaps on the jacket cuffs and centre front hem.
